DIC interview ......

Today 19/08/2007 Sunday, Suppose to have an interview with unknown company in Dubai Internet City.

The day from the beginning was tough, no transport from Ras Al-Khaimah the city i am setting in at this point of life, I walked to al nakhil road 15 min walking under 40 degree on the direct sun, I found one driver heading to Dubai but waiting for 1 person :(, 10 min let's go guys one of my friends is coming that's full.

We went to his friends house 10 min he stayed there around another 10 min he kept losing time on the roads actually i don't know what he was looking for, I went for the toilet the time is 10:30 am and the meeting was attending to be 12:00 pm.

Finally he went to Emirates Road heading to Dubai :), I reached Dubai 12:02 pm great i am not too much late, the driver said: Hajji i will pay a traffic bill for mokhalfa (Fines) only 10 min, I said OK arbab don't be late, After 10 min we still did not reach the traffic dept. so he said: hajji there a bus behind me heading to diera take it, I said: OK it's better i paid 20 AED and left the car the time now is 12:30 pm.

The bus did not stop ( Bus Full) :(, No taxis no other bus nothing but private cars and Sun and 40 degree :( even the time is elapsed.

I walked again under the sun for 30 min i was so angry i still cannot find any taxi or bus, My sweet mother called ( Where are you ) I said: ( Help i cannot find any taxis or bus and i am so far the weather is hot ).

She came to me after another 30 min i guess, the time was 1:05 Pm, still have a hop to reach to DIC on time, i went home changed my cloth took my papers and went to my brother Waleed.

I took my father's car and we moved to waleed's Friend Amr on the Chines city in Dubai, I got lost three times :( , but i reached him at 04:00 pm lol.

We went to the DIC i got lost again for two times, Finally i reached my point it was 05:10 pm, I filled the application attached my CV, and meet the Manager she was a lady ( Indian ).

She said: Mohammed i am so busy right now but i need some one in my IT dept. this your mobile no (yes said by me) OK thank you ( thank you and nice to meet you said also by me) bye bye ( bye bye ).

I left it was OK she did not say no there a hope, i went home and i made a small accident to my father's car ( Chevrolet Epica 2006 ) this was my first accident in my life, ended fast nothing danger only the paint of the front robber has scratched, i completed my way to home and took my mother car to parking my father car in house parking i also damaged my mother's car but nothing happen to the cars it also went just fine.

After all that i went to RAK again because i have an inventory from 12:00 am to 08:00 am.

ooh i am so tiered.

Dubai and Luxury ..

This is where i am now Dubai the Luxury, money all your dreams BUT you have to survive with everyday law against non locals specially Arabs.
Too bad to know you deserve to live better than that but people don't let you do, some other people do really help each other but there are some other people heart people not just don't help them.

Whatever.

Now you have to pay more than 40,000 AED = 11,000 USD approximately annually JUST to rent a place to stay in and every year the price rise to what ever amount 20%, 30% or even 100% no problems we are living in gold and we earn gold TOO me personally i have a lot of money i don't know where to spent it.
imagine that you need to live with your family you may kicked out from the country better.

One year experience completed

Today is my last day in the first year working in the United Arab Emirates-Ras Al khimah with Carrefour hypermarket as an IT clerk.
It was tough year leaving my family, fiancé, friends and the best places that I have visit it, I was dreaming of a life that is in reality almost like hell, nothing to do but working to prove that you know the job and you can do it, seeing everyone having a chances and passing through you, imagine that you know your job and you are the best on it but, you don't deserve to be respected as others, Why? still searching for the answer.
I am still a live learning from the life school and i am still happy :P
